Ralph joined Birds Portchmouth Russum in 2018 a year after completing his BA at Oxford Brookes University where he won the prestigious Scott Brownrigg prize for hand drawn visualisations. He has a special aptitude for handmade processes which he exercises through his engagement in illustration and art alongside his architectural work. He gained experience in creative design proposals whilst interning at a leading architectural practice across 6 consecutive summers, where he produced design proposals, many of which were realised.
Since joining, Ralph has been key in developing a wide range of projects at all stages of work and across a mix of scales. The works range from taking a prominent role in preparing tender and construction documents, developing a framework master-plan for University of Kent in collaboration with JL LTD to hands on experience with a house reconfiguration and extension in a conservation area in Belsize Park.
