Two flats within an Edwardian townhouse
are joined by a new staircase inserted within a side bay.
The lower floor has an open plan living area with bedrooms
located on the upper floor. The cloakroom and bathroom
adjoin the staircase which houses the client’s library.
The central balustrade is formed by a suspended ‘cloud‘
of sandblasted glass. A reading balcony at the half level
provides a place to sit, browse and overlook the garden.
